Heitor Augusto Correa Siqueira Chagas
A law degree from FACAMP - Faculdades de Campinas and a post-graduate degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure from Pontifícia Universidade Católica/SP, Dr. Heitor Chagas is a criminal lawyer, a member of IBCCRIM - Brazilian Instituto of Criminal Sciences, an associate of AASP - São Paulo Lawyers' Association and a former member of the OAB/Campinas Racial Equality Commission. Representing the Brazilian Bar Association, Campinas sub-section, he was the rapporteur of the opinion on creating the Reference Center for Human Rights and Combating Racism and Religious Discrimination in Campinas. Over the more than ten years he has been practicing as a criminal lawyer, he has been a guest lecturer and speaker on several occasions, with outstanding performance in economic criminal law, trade union criminal law, internal investigations, crisis management, conflict resolution and related issues.

Maurides de Melo Ribeiro
Bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees from the Law School of Largo São Francisco at the University of São Paulo and a specialist in Economic Criminal Law from the University of Coimbra/IBCCRIM, Dr. Maurides Ribeiro was a member of the CONEN/SP - State Council on Narcotics in 1995, occupying the seat destined for the OAB/SP - Brazilian Bar Association. He was vice-president from 1995/1996 and president of this body from 1997/2000. He is a founding member of IBCCRIM - Instituto Brasileiro de Ciências Criminais (Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences), of which he was director-second secretary in 1997/1998. He was once again a member of CONEN/SP - the State Council on Narcotics in 2001/2003, occupying the seat allocated to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/SP). He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Journal of Criminal Sciences from 2001/2005. He was coordinator of the National Drug Policy Commission of IBCCRIM - Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences from 2006/2008.
Throughout his career, he has taken part in several committees of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), São Paulo section, such as the prerogatives committee, human rights, the exam and the teaching committee. In 2010, he was one of the experts interviewed in the award-winning documentary "Cortina de Fumaça", by director Rodrigo Mac Niven. He is the author of the book Drugs and Harm Reduction: The Rights of People Who Use Drugs (2013), and co-organizer of the book Drugs: Hegemony of Cynicism (1997), as well as numerous articles in newspapers and specialized magazines.
He is a permanent contributor to the journal, AJD - Association of Judges for Democracy. He is a founding member of LEIPSI - Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Studies on Psychoactive Drugs at UNICAMP - State University of Campinas - and of the Brazilian Platform for Drug Policy, of which he is a member of the advisory board. He is an adjunct researcher at the Politics and Criminology Laboratory at the State University of Campinas – PolCrim.
He is an academic member of the APD – Paulista Law Academy, occupying chair number 68.
In addition, he is an advisory member of CONED/SP - State Council for Public Policies on Drugs, occupying the seat representing the OAB/SP - Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo section.
At the beginning of his academic career, in the 1980s, he created the Chair of Special Criminal Legislation in Professor Damásio Evangelista de Jesus' Preparatory Course for Legal Careers. In the mid-1990s, he was one of the pioneering professors of the Human Rights Chair at ACADEPOL - the São Paulo State Police Academy. He also taught Criminal Law at São Judas University, Criminal Law and Criminology at FACAMP - Faculdades de Campinas and Mackenzie Presbyterian University.
Throughout his professional career, he has always practiced criminal law.

Marília Martins de Souza

Sarah Eliza Correia dos Reis
Currently, an undergraduate Law student at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, Sarah is a criminal law intern, registered with the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (Brazilian Bar), São Paulo, number 237.821. She is a collaborating member of the "Combating Violence Against Women" and "Criminal Procedural Law" commissions OAB/Campinas, as well as of the Study and Research Group on BioLaw, Bioethics and BioTechnology at Mackenzie Presbyterian University. She is a member of the IDDD - Institute for the Defense of the Right to Defense.
